The Gulf Winter Cup is organised and run by ISG Events staff who specialise in delivering the highest quality sports events around the word.

Listed below are all of the details your team will need to know to enoy the tournament to the fullest and create lifelong memories.

RULES

The Gulf Winter Cup will be played in accordance with applicable sections of FIFA and IFAB Laws of the Game. When subject to interpretation of FIFA rules or regulations, the English text applies.

Dispensation Players: All teams are allocated x2 dispensation players per squad who may be up to 6 months over the allocated age cut off dates.

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE

On day 1 of the tournament teams will compete in their respective age groups which are drawn at random to ensure fairness for all. Games will be played for the full time allocated with standard a points based progression structure (Win = 3 points, Draw = 1 point, Loss = 0 points).

Following the group stages on day 1 teams will be placed into the knockout stages of the tournament based on their results from the group stage games. All teams will progress to the knockout stage of the tournament competing in a relevant tier of finals games based on group stage results.

Please note there will be no extra time played during any games, however, for knockout and final stages if there is a drawn at the end of the game penalties will decide the winner. Please see the official tournament Rules & Regulations supplied by ISG Events Ltd for further details.

SQUAD INFORMATION

Squad size is not limited at the Gulf Winter Cup however you cannot make more then 7 substitutions per game.

TEAM REGISTRATIONS

Team registration spaces at the Gulf Winter Cup are limited to ensure the very best playing exprie nce for all competitors. For this reason in previous years we have not been able to accept all team registration requests to participate at the tournament due to high demand. To secure an entry space teams will be required to pay an initial deposit of £500.00 GBP per team.

AGE GROUP INFO

All age groups will be mixed with international competitors from overseas and local UAE based teams.

PRESENTATION CEREMONY

All of the Gulf Winter Cup presentations will be overseen by our very own professional Master Of Ceremonies with the custom designed prestigeous Gulf Winter Cup Trophy awarded to the champions of each age group.

All players will recive a certificate of participation with age groupo runners up reciving the Silver Medal and age group champions recieving the Gold Medal.
